Hi all,

My husband and I will be on the Liberty for an 8 night cruise leaving Port Canaveral on 5/9. We will fly in on 5/5 and will be renting a car. Can anyone suggest a good place to stay in the Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Melbourne area (not Orlando)? I have done research, but am torn between a couple of places. Price range $100-$150 - not to huge - quaint -? Also, does anyone know if we are hitting spring break?

We have always stayed at the Raddison at the port. It's about a mile from the port and they have a lovely pool area. They have remodeled some of the rooms recently. We find this convenient and it's fun mingling before a cruise and meet other people that are sailing. There's a ton of pics on tripadvisor of this hotel. Enjoy your cruise!

We stay at Comfort Inn Cocoa beach. Reasonable prices and they have park and cruise packages. Free breakfast. Cost us $111. 321-783-2221

I have sailed from Port Canaveral twice and both times we stayed at Country Inn and Suites and used their Park and Cruise package to leave our car there in their parking lot while we cruised. Their shuttle worked well and we had no problems at all on either end. If we sail from there again I will be staying with Country Inn again.
