nassua horse buggy question

We did the Horse and Buggy ride on our own a few years ago. I think we paid 20 dollars. It was extremely quick, driver spoke too rapid to understand and didn't reply when we spoke to him. They pushed us into the carriage so fast I hit my shin and cut it. They did not care and even wanted more money at the end of it. We said not no but heck no and showed them my leg. They walked away real fast.

So if you do it, make sure you get a decent driver and not one just hurrying to get the next customer!

I was there in January, and I really felt like the horses looked sad and uncared for. I wouldn't recommend it. My own personal opinion, being an animal lover.

I agree. Those horses almost look malnourished. I've never seen horses so skinny before.
