Can you tell me about the muster drill. Last cruise we went when called and ended up against a wall by a lifeboat station with tons of folks in front of us. Really want to avoid that this time and be one of the later one with a boat drink in my hand.

While on the glory in Feb I just waited until most had already gone to muster. I too hate to be behind a bunch of people. A true problem, they escort u to the dining room where you sit and listen. But as for the drink, don't think that is allowed.

Thanks. The dining room would be better than standing at the lifeboats.

We had the muster out on the decks by the lifeboats. I know that some ships take you to different spots on the ship where you listen to a recording or watch a video. Alas, not on the Freedom. I waited till the last minute so I would be in the front which I was ..... Last to arrive and first to leave! Oh and as for the drink..... I had a bud light lime in my hand the entire time. You just have to buy it before the drill starts. No bar service until it's over... Sipping that bud sure made the drill a lot more fun!

Hi all, To answer 2 Cruzen question, and for any others who might be interested. As you walk out of the actual port,(Havensight)you cross the highway and go to a small strip mall. I think the name of the liquor store is Al Cohen's. The store is not very far from the ship. Last time I was there you got a shopping cart and picked up the liquor bottles you wanted. At the cashier you pay for the bottles, and they will pack them up and deliver them to your ship. Very good prices. Hope this helps. Kendra

Hey how are ya? I do remember you and your troops. You guys were having a great time and yes I loved your "wooohooo's! In fact, I think you asked my wife and I to take a picture of you and your hubby the first day on the ship as we were walking by.

Looks like you figured out the messaging just fine. I am wishing we were still on that cruise this cold seems never ending!

Thanks Sayvan for the great review! Your pictures are terrific! It looks like you really enjoyed your vacation. It took me a few hours to see all of it but it was so worth it. I felt like I was there with you. We always welcome our Canadian neighbors to Florida!

We will be on a similar itinerary on the CCL Liberty in November going to Grand Turk, San Jaun and St Maarten so now I have an idea what to do while we are there.

thank you so much for the review! How did you like the interior room with no window?? Im debating on doing the freedom with no window or a window or even doing just the 5 day cruise on the victory but not sure yet. With you being on the 7th deck did you feel a lot of swaying back and forth??

Thanks so much for a great review! I'm going on Freedom next Monday and I am so excited for Grand Turk now.

Question- sorry if you answered this in the review-- did you guys get the drink/CHEERS package. Looks like you drink like my friend and I do and I was curious about your experience!

As many ship and ports reviews that I have looked at , this has to be my favorite. The pictures were fantastic. We will be on the Freedom in September and are looking forward to the cruise now more than ever. Thanks so much for the time and effort spent. Incidentally we have been to Canada numerous times on cruises and land vacations. Love it there!

WOW your pictures are great! Could be used in brochures and magazines!

Thanks so much for the compliments and I am glad you enjoyed the review. I think Freedom will be even better for you because of her recent upgrades. Enjoy...

Just wanted to say thanks for the review. That had to be one of the best documented reviews I have read. Heading to the Freedom Sept 1st and can't wait!

Thanks... that is a very nice compliment considering the number of reviews on CC.
