Nassau-Atlantis Aqua adventure- Will there be enough time?

We will be visiting Nassau on July 25, 2014, on the Norwegian Getaway. The itinerary notes the ship arrives at 12:00 p.m. and departs at 7:00 p.m. We have tentatively booked a room at the Comfort Suites as suggested on this site, to take advantage of the lower cost to visit the water park; however, I am wondering if there will be enough time to visit the park? By the time we dock, arrive at the Comfort Inn and then walk over to the park, I am assuming it will be around 2:00 p.m. Is this enough time to visit the park? If anyone has any input, I would sincerely appreciate it! :)

Had the same question myself, looking forward to responses. Not going until Dec, anewtwinmom, do they have a cancellation policy at the Comfort Suites ? Thinking it may be a good idea to book early.

Thats a bit tricky. Since July 25th is a friday (weekday) you'll find the traffic going back to the ship backed up on the bridge, so in order to get back to the port by 6:30, you would have to leave Atlantis by 5:30/5:40 the latest. (that's be in the cab heading back, not starting to pack up to leave). That doesn't really give you more that 3.5 hours of park time.

In the winter months - for the poster who's coming in Dec. The park closes at 5pm. It starts to get dark around 4:30pm.

A very short day .

we did this a few years ago. was it worth it. i guess so since ds wanted to go there on his 16th birthday and we docked on his birthday. cost wise no its not really worth it. by the time you cross the street and walk thru the casino and then thru the aquarium- Its how you get to the water park. you wont have much time to do stuff. we managed the lazy river and 2 water coasters and then it was time to head back. of course it was winter so you would have one more hour. Its cool to say we were there but it was a hassle and we really didnt get to do much there. its up to you if you think its worth it,
