Help! When to schedule departing flight?

I am booking a last minute cruise from Long Beach leaving March 10th and ending March 14th. Can anyone offer some insight into when disembarkment might be and how long I should plan for getting back to LAX? Would a flight out of LAX at 2:15 be cutting it too close?

 

Also, should I simply use the Carnival transfers to and from the airport or are there other (cheaper) options?

You will have no problem with a 2pm flight out of LAX.

 

Current taxi fares to LAX are set at $60. Long Beach is $30, SNA is $68. PrimeTime and Supershuttle are also available at the port.

Thanks! I ended up calling Carnival to check on the flight time and they confirmed that 2:00 would be fine. I ended up simply getting the Carnival ground transfers simply because it seem easier. I'm going to doing this cruise solo so anything that makes my life easier seems worth it.

I got off the Imagination last Sunday. I am platinum so I was in the first group off the ship, along with FTTF folks. I was off the ship by 7:45, quick 20 minute cab ride to LAX for $60, and made the 9:10 AM Southwest flight to Oakland. Keep in mind that it was Sunday Morning with no traffic.
