Carnival Perks with a suite?

Experienced cruisers.... I'm going on my first ever cruise April 28 on the Carnival Paradise. We are booked in a junior suite. I know that we get priority boarding with a suite, but will our room be ready right away as well? Or do I need to purchase FTTF for that?

 

I could care less about priority boarding, I'd just like my room to be ready and bags delivered asap. Thanks!

You'll need to purchase FTTF to gaurantee your room is ready when boarding and for your luggage to get there before others. Only perk to the suite is priority boarding and it ends there. Good luck!!!

We had a vista suite last month. When we checked in (around 1) we were told our room was ready. Our luggage came a couple of hours after that.

We had a Jr Suite on the Paradise and we were allowed in our cabin early. Luggage was hit or miss.

As you can see, Carnival doesn't give much in the way of suite perks although Carnival suites are considerably cheaper than most other cruise lines. Early luggage delivery isn't included on Carnival.

It is called a Premium Vista Balcony. It is a wrap balcony on the back of the ship. I will be in mine on 3/22/15 aboard the Magic . I cant wait. :D
