There is no elevator noise, noise comes from people.

Agreed!

The central lifts tend to generate more footfall past your. In than those at the ends of the cabin decks. It also depends on the passengers onboard. If you are on a busy cruise with a lot of people drinking until late and you go to bed early then chances you'll be disturbed by people traipsing out of the lifts and past your cabin. If you don't go to bed early, then you may not be disturbed at all.

I was near one of the aft elevators. No noise from either elevators or people.

Judyzoo, can I ask what was your room number so I can compare your location with my cabin I booked for August 2014? Thanks!
