Plan for Castaway Cay

It depends on what you WANT to do and how much you want to spend. A beach and snorkel day is great. This kids will want to try the slides by the family beach. You can get a bikes/floats/snorkel package that will keep you busy the whole day. Castaway is the easiest beach you will ever do, so if you are planning a beach day during the trip, this is it. There are a few trails you can hike.

On the other hand, there are lots of things that cost more that you can choose . Parasailing? I'd skip the rays--but I'm really partial to the experience at Discovery Cove and Stingray City.

In all fairness, we usually do it as a beach day. Maybe I'm not the best person to suggest alternatives.

If they like it, lets the kids do the kid club activities and the adults head to the adult beach. Otherwise, plan to pick a beach spot and check the patter for things that interest you

Suggestions for things to do (or not do). We are an active group with 4 kids age 9-13. Thanks

We rented the bikes mid day after spending 2-3 hours playing on Pelican's Plunge. Spent the whole day together as a family of 4.

We have always done the bikes/snorkeling/floats deal. We do the bikes first, then the snorkeling followed by floats. Sometime in there we eat and walk around seeing everything, watching the kids on Pelican Plunge etc. By then its time for a nap so back to the ship we go.:p:D
