NOSaints1 Posted February 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2014 My wife and I are in our 30s just wondering what's better celebrity or Royal, celebrity seems more relaxed but would it be a good fit for us, who just like to relax. Is there enough for us to do, we're not into speciality restaurants so does it have lots of free restaurants? Dr. Pam Posted February 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Just back on boards....after cruising hiatus. I am in my VERY early 50`s with teenage kids. I have cruised Disney Magic (when our kids were babes) the Golden Princess for our first adult cruise away from babes, and then moved on to RCCL Splendour, Brilliance, Celebrity Equinox, RCCL Oasis and most recently The Royal Princess. I am far from being a exclusive vacation cruiser as we enjoy itineraries on many land based voyages. :) Having said that..... RESERVE WITH RCCL. I have found Royal Caribbean to be the most accommodating, exciting, fun, with great dining options, great shows, and....just a great feeling onboard! If you can splurge, the suites that come with the concierge lounge are a fantastic option vs. the so-called butler service on the Celebrity Equinox. But, heh... just my $.02. Anyday on a cruise is always a great day. Happy and Safe Travels. Pam
