This is our first cruise. I recently broke my leg. found out I get my cast off on the 5th. I will still be on crutches for our trip. How hard will it be to get on board and around on the ship? Is it a steep climb to board? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, can't help till after September, just wanted to say, "Jeez, sorry for your broken leg!" Don't fall! I hope you have a very safe and happy sail.

P.S. I read on the boards that they do have wheel chairs that operate in the sand, I believe in Coz. This may be everywhere as well, can't remember for sure.

At embarkation, they'll have an elevator for you [if necessary]. Around 8-10 elevators on the ship itself. When you debark at port, the gangways are at about a 10-20 degree angle. There may be a couple of steps.

Carnival personnel will help you navigate any necessary steps...and in any other way you need.
