Timeframe Question

I am trying to book a floatplane excursion, if the ship is scheduled to dock at 7:00 am, will we have enough time to make a 8 am excursion. As this is our very first cruise ever, I don't know if ships are on time and how long it takes to get off the ship.

I would call the floatplane company. All the people I have spoken too have been very knowledgeable about the where and when the cruise ships arrive. Also with floatplanes they MAY try to fill the plane, so time may not be exact until they do....

Thanks, but I already talked to them and they said it shouldn't be a problem, unfortunately I don't always trust what they are telling me since it benefits them if I book it. I am looking for people who may have done this and if there has been issues with docking on time and then getting to the excursion.

We find the shore folks always have a better idea of what is going and what will work. I would trust them more than NCL - not that NCL will lie, just that the people you are able to talk to really do not know.

If you are concerned about arrival time, try booking slightly later in the day.

We did the floatplane once and a helo, both independently.
