Spirit Grand Mediterranean itinerary change

Evidently the Norwegian Spirit has dropped Izmir, Turkey, from the Grand Med itinerary and substituted Kusadasi -- for which no excursion has yet been posted. Anyone on this board know why the change was made and whether it is irreversible?

There was a thread about it yesterday. It seems that this is permanent and affects the Jade as well.

 

We don't know the reason, but it seems that Kusadasi is a nicer port, and is much closer to Ephesus.

There is a long thread about this, it doesn't affect only Spirit but also Jade - they changed the port for all Izmir itineraries.
