Janie001 Posted March 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Hi, We have cruised once before out of New Orleans and stayed at the Hilton Riverside. On embarkation day we walked behind the hotel along the railway track to the Julia Street Terminal for a RCL cruise. We found that to be a relative easy walk (even with luggage). This trip we are on Carnival and leaving from the Erato Terminal but still staying at the Hilton Riverside. I did not notice when we were there last how much further this terminal is from the Julia Street one - can anyone give me some perspective on how many additional minutes it might be walking? Just want to check to see if it is still doable or if we should take other transit. Thank you!
WLHyatt Posted March 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2014 It is doable, the walk should be less than 1000 feet. Be careful, that is a busy busy road.

rvsullivan Posted March 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2014 No sidewalk, you walk among the cars. Sometimes it's not fun. The cops can be helpful or a pain. It is posted as no walking. I wouldn't do it, but many do. 1000 ft sounds about right.
