atnick11 Posted March 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Hey all. Im sure this question has been asked before but Ill ask anyway. Is there really any benefit to booking your next cruise while on a cruise? We will be on the Breeze the 15th and have seen where they try and get you to book your next cruise. Is there more value to booking then instead anytime else? Thanks for your input.
blueshine Posted March 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2014 On our past cruises we found they offered onboard credit for your next cruise. I believe it was $100.00 OB credit for 7 day cruise.
Birms38 Posted March 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) We booked a cruise on our last cruise and we got $100 on board credit for our future cruise and I have been watching the cost of the cruise on the web site and it has dropped since booking so I called and they credited the difference to more on board credit and was able to bump up to a cabin on the lido deck. You also will receive 2 Family & Friends vouchers which entitle someone else to receive the same OBC that you received as long as they book the exact same cruise within 60 days of the date on the voucher. richfret Posted March 2, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2014 I have booked a cruise while on a cruise twice. I got the $100 OBC and two $100 vouchers for friends. You will not get that it you book off the ship. It's that simple. One word of caution. If you book Early Saver or Military and request a price adjustment during Carnival sales, it should not affect the $100 OBC. I had that happen and lost the $100 OBC. After several calls to Carnival, they agreed and reinstated the $100 OBC. Some of the Carnival Reps were considering the now cancelled future cruise certificate in the same category as the buy a cruise while on a cruise. That is not the case and Carnival agreed. Carnival did take my OBC after I asked for a price drop. Thanks to Cruise Critic folks feedback, I called and got it reinstated. Watch 'em! rwilk1129 Posted March 3, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I booked a future cruise when I was on Legend in Dec for Nov 2014 and now have been offered a Premier casino cruise. I was told cannot change this booking to a Premier cruise would have to cancel & rebook without getting obc benefit. Anybody out there been successful changing? Thanks

HoosierBuddy Posted March 3, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 3, 2014 If you book on board do they have reduced deposits?
Sparky2 Posted March 3, 2014 #14 Share Posted March 3, 2014 If you book on board do they have reduced deposits? I think that if the current offer is a reduced deposit you would be entitled to it. However, if later you get price drops, the full deposit would be required, unless that rate also allowed reduced deposit.
