vfangue Posted March 12, 2014 #51 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Great review, looking forward to your port days. As a Texan, we always cruise the Caribbean and it's fun to follow along and learn about other regions. crusinpsychRN Posted March 12, 2014 #52 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Empress Deck Cabin 6134 Fwd it was nice but we felt more movement than usual we were always on midship level in the past cruises. The deck plan shows this as a connecting room. Did you hear noise from the adjoining cabin?

cynthiacruz Posted March 14, 2014 Author #55 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Hi it was a connected room but I didn't hear Nothing there was a family of 4 I think it was so quiet the funny part was since there was a door in which it was a connecting door inside the room I thought it was an extra closet or bathroom lol unfortunately it wasn't so I just used the handle to hang my purse and hat on it :) Thank you for all the kid comments its been 2 weeks since we returned Ive been working on this blog little by little any questions feel free to ask. cynthiacruz Posted March 23, 2014 Author #56 Share Posted March 23, 2014 This morning we slept in until 9am i woke up and had to check the tv it showed we arrived in PV but not fully we had a few ways to go, while jenisea was still asleep i ate the usual room service order showered got dressed and went to the ladies pamper party while cruz went to the gym, at the pamper party it was fun, we arrived in PV at 11:15am i was sitting in the balcony watching the ship rotate itself their was Loud music playing and i noticed 3 men walking up to tie up the ship, i also seen A princess cruise ship docked their as well. i talked my daughter into going up to the sun deck to take photos at 12pm we got off the ship took photos at the gangway with a parrot a pirate seen a Mexican donkey lol there was no wait to get off the ship and we had no FTTF either, we had no excursion booked until day 2 so we were clueless on what to do or where to go, We were hungry it was hot we had guys left and right asking us if we wanted to do a 5 hr personal tour for $100 we got a white taxi that charged us $4 each person $16/total he was expensive but we didn't know any better but he reffered us to the Best Mexican resteraunt ever and that's Gabys , Cruz told him to drop us off at the our lady of Guadalupe catholic church because he knew how bad i wanted to go, and Gabys was a 4 minute walk it worked out perfect. remember once you get off the ship always take small map handouts or magazines it has coupons for free things inside. as we went to gabys their was this guy that had a cabo san lucas tattoo on his arm he and his wife started talking to us out of no where we told them we are cruisers he gave us info about PV & Cabo they both flew from CA to PV for a week, his wife was a manager for gabys in CA. their food was very affordable, great service, fast, we were treated like kings, i showed the server my coupon for a free guacamole apetitzer, i ordered chicken enchiladas i tried one red & one green, the server gave us some fruit water it was to die for!!, for 3 meals, fruit water, 2 margaritas $18.00 i sware to you. After lunch we walked over to melacon, the popular boardwalk i seen a starbucks, burger king & dominoz pizza and how they deliver it is by motorcycles, we walked through the boardwalk and ended up at pacifica romantica i seen from a distance locals in the water and buying shrimp on a stick from a guy at first i was like umm what are they doing and why, i got tired of walking and found a table under an umbrella with chairs we were their for a good while i wanted a snack and a guy comes with grilled shrimp on a stick so i got one, and cruz noticed there was a taco lady under a bridge and said i shouldn't over react on why people hang out under a bridge when i was doing the same thing lol i felt dumb because he was right, we ordered pinya coladas from one of the servers he said it was 2x1 but he kept looking at his watch i asked him what time it was he said it was 5p but on my watch it was 3pm ship time 2pm CA time, so PV is 2hrs ahead. very interesting. we had people asking if we wanted to buy things every 10 mins i got tired of it and wanted to leave to see more things, we started walking back went shopping seen a sandman, we past by LA Palapa i read so much on this place it was a resteraunt on the beach tables & chairs were 5 ft away from the water i fell in love with what i seen on the website and wanted to go so bad Cruz reminded me about this place because i read about it each night before we went on the cruise i guess i didn't pay attention to it when we past by since it was daylight i asked him if we can have dinner their he said no, so i just said ok and stood quiet the entire way back to the ship. i got tired of walking and we caught a yellow cab (affordable) it was $10 for the 3 of us back to the ship but how the way they drive i was holding on for dear life, the pedestrians do not have the right away, the cars do, he had no radio no ac we were cooking lol, once we got to the ship was 5pm ship time Jenisea got ready while cruz took a nap at 7pm cruz wanted to go back to port to have dinner i guess he got tired of eating in the MDR i wanted authenic Mexican food lol so we walked off the ship and caught a yellow cab he said lets go have dinner at the LA Palapa im like no way it was the best surprise the taxi driver stressed me out he knew his streets real good he was speeding took side streets, and dropped us off right in front i asked him its odd how i didn't see a cop any where in site he said because they are all on foot or on bikes they can never catch up i said to myself omg, we get to the resteraunt but there was no tables on the sand the waitress said it will take 30 mins Cruz said ok so we went to the bar and had a margarita 5 mins later the waitress said our table was ready it was so nice perfect weather, listening to the sound of the waves, it was beautiful, but within minutes after the waiter came to take our order my anxiety attack came back i was trying to pull it together, i didn't want to ruin the night, i made sure to take a Zofran before we left i was confused on why was it not working or what was triggering the attack i think it was because i was so far away from home worried about my mom that i take care of, i knew i needed to relax since we were on vacation i told him i needed to go see the water so i walked a few feet away and started standing their watching the water and looking up at the stars their were so many, cruz came up and said whats wrong are you having another attack? i said yep he said you will be fine just enjoy the night, we went back to our table he ordered a fish fellet and i got the jumbo shrimp it was real good, we were amazed on how packed the resteraunt was with people ages 50+ was out, they looked like they were having a good time, drinking and dancing to a band that was playing, it was 9pm ship time but 10p PV time in CA it was 8pm after dinner we walked down the back onto the boardwalk and here i go again asking why are all these kids are still out don't they got school? he just laughed, i got tired from walking we caught a cab back to the ship played in the casino again and went to bed because we had a early excursion in the morning in which i had no idea on how i was going to wake up to be their early..
