Return Flight out of New Orleans

We booked a 12:25pm flight out of New Orleans in September. We'll be disembarking Carnival Dream at 8:00am, purchased FTTF (Zone 1) and post-cruise transfers through Carnival. I'm assuming we will have plenty of time to get to the airport and through security? We've never been to New Orleans so not sure what traffic and the airport is all about. TIA :eek:

If the ship is on time, you will be fine. Plenty of cabs at the pier and it is normally less than 30 minutes to the airport, if traffic is bad, one hour.

You'll be fine- we just did it on Sunday, the beginning of Mardi Gras. We were at airport by 9:30.
