Prepaid gratuity

I'm going on a May 11, 2014 Carnival Glory cruise and I'm wondering if carnival offers prepaid gratuities? And if so what does it include? What extra gratuity will I have to pay? Thank you!

Yes they do. I am going on that cruise as well! It includes gratuities for your room steward, wait staff, and others. If you pay them, then technically you don't owe anything else. But I, as well as a lot of people, give extra for great service. But you are under no obligation to do so. Only other tips would be when you order a drink from the bar staff.

Yes, Carnival does provide for prepaid gratuities. Contact the (or your TA) and they will add it to your bill. It includes all your service personnel (waiter/waitress, maitre'd, cabin stewards). What it doesn't include is the bar help which you will pay for with each purchase.

We are going on the Glory the week after you! They are $11.50 per day/per guest. We always pre-pay our tips before we go. Makes it one less expense on the S&S bill;)

Call Carnival if you booked direct with them. Or your TA if you used one. Super simple and easy.

You can add it if you book through Carnival's website. There's a box under the section for dining options. You can also call your PVP or TA and have them add it.

Yes you can prepay. I believe that the cost pp is now 11.50 or thereabouts and will cover everything but the bar folks and the porters at the port for your luggage. We always give a few extra bucks to the room steward and the dining staff but I just like to pre pay when I book online and know that it is taken care of and do not have to do the math all the time to make sure everybody is getting tipped accordingly. Ever so much easier!! :) :)
