puggleperson Posted March 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Aruba seems to look a little blah (except for the beaches of course) would it be worth it for us to take a land based tour or should we just stick to a beach? What are some things that I shouldn't miss while on aruba if I do decide to take a tour? Thanks mucho!
Arubalisa Posted March 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Aruba is not a lush tropical island but a semi-arid desert. During a two hour tour you can see the highlights of the island. California Dunes & Lighthouse Alto Vista Chapel Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins Baby natural bridge Arikok National Park Picturesque beaches, no swimming on the windward side Rock Formations including Indian paintings Palm Beach & Eagle Beaches. If you would like a private tour see Questions on Bully Tours in Aruba?? Bullys Taxi Tour (What are the highlights?) For a small group tour see private tour with SOnny Binns???? Sonny Binns Tour Bus? Either person would be more than happy to drop you off at the beach at the end of your tour.

Sunny AZ Girl Posted March 10, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2014 We were in Aruba a couple of years ago and only had time to do a snorkel tour. This time we are fortunate enough to have a long day (8 AM - 11PM) in Aruba. We plan on a morning snorkel tour with lunch with Jolly Pirates and then a 3 hour island tour with Sonny Binns. We have a group of 13, so Sonny works best for us. I am glad we will get to see the island highlights, but I do think the beaches are the best part of the island.
