SaskMommy Posted March 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2014 We are going on our very first cruise, Eastern Caribbean on the Allure. It leaves on the 16th(eeeek!). Anyways, I'm starting to pack, and I'm curious how much space there is in the cabins for luggage? It will be my hubby and I and our 3 daughters. I would normally pack a suitcase for each of us, but I'm wondering if I should try to squeeze into 4 suitcases instead. We will have two adjoining cabins. Any thoughts? Thanks :)
bumbletigger Posted March 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2014 If you have suitcases that are a set that can nest (fit inside one another), that will help quite a bit. The beds are tall enough that most suitcases fit under the bed. DH and I each take a large and medium suit case that nest, and we still have room under the bed for more. Clarea Posted March 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2014 There should be space under the bed for at least 2 suitcases. Worst case is you could store another in the closet.
SaskMommy Posted March 10, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2014 One of the suitcases will nestle in the other, so it should be prefect! Thanks guys!
S&Jboat Posted March 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2014 We never had a problem storing suitcases under the bed on Oasis, however on the Grandeur the bed wasn't high enough so we asked the room attendant to store them - no problem at all.
