guataunt Posted July 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2005 We are considering going on our own to Coral World. I read that you can take a walking tour on the bottom of the ocean? How is this done? If we only had 2-3 hours, would that be enough to make going to CW worth it?
bruce-r Posted July 25, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2005 You don't actually go into the water. You go down inside a building that goes underwater and look out thru windows. You can see photos of Coral World here: http://community.webshots.com/album/160616569FZvwSz You could go underwater there if you did something like a helmut dive where you walk on the bottom with a big clear plastic bubble helmut on. Air is supplied from the surface and you just walk around. In St. Thomas there is also a thing called "Underwater B.O.B. adventure" where you ride around on an underwater scooter like device that also has the clear bubble helmut.
