Thinking Sunshine

Sure, why not give it a shot. The lovely Mrs. Jones didn't care too much for "Sunshine", when she did the last Med Cruise, B2B with the Trans Atlantic, but it wasn't anything major, just lots of little disappointments for her. You might find that it's the best ship you've ever sailed. ;)

we had a great time on our Sunshine cruise, however, it was NOT our favorite ship. Nothing major, but all the public spaces seemed way too small, the flow of the ship isn't great and the music everywhere was way too LOUD! Did really enjoy the serenity deck! A cruise is what you make it.

Just off the Sunshine last week. Enjoyed the ship. We had cabin 7316. Did not spend a lot of time on lido. No complaints from us (other then a very tight casino). Had early dinning at a table for 12 (all our group) good service and food was very good. Did the steakhouse one night. Did not do the Asian or Italian places. Took a day or so to get the layout down, but not hard to find anything. Loved the Red Frog Pub. Great place to hang out with friends. Did notice long lines for ATD a few times. Never had a problem with crowds at the buffet as we went at off times.

We would (will) sail on her again.

We have been on 2 previous cruises, thinking about taking Carnival Sunshine next....Any comments on this ship will be appreciated!:)

I love Sunshine. It's a wonderful ship. I especially like the waterfall in the serenity area. All of the 2.0 upgrades are nice. I agree with the other post about the music being too loud, but that seems to be on all the ships these days. Try Sunshine!

Exactly what I was going to say. Sunshine is a great ship just felt a little crampt at times.

Was on the Sunshine in Nov. Great ship. We had a wonderful time. The best feature to us was the Serenity deck. Very large and 2nd to none. Would sail on her again in a heartbeat. ( you might here some smell & bucket stories mainly from people that have never stepped foot on her. We looked. Couldn't find them buckets. :) )

Sunshine is a fantastic ship I wouldn't hesitate to sail her again. She has every single 2.0 upgrade. If you want to see a comedy show get there early as the lounge is small same with the Liquid Lounge. Bathroom in the cabin is too small you have to have one foot in the shower. There is also some bad odor on Deck 4 in the Liquid Lounge and by the Limelight lounge. I didn't see the buckets anywhere like others said. Have a great cruise!

Loved the Sunshine. Make sure to catch the comedians, they're top notch. The shows were fantastic and so was the food and service in the dining room. I can't think of one negative thing to say. And I'm from NOLA so I'm a bit partial. Hope you can get out and enjoy the cuisine that my city has to offer. Have a wonderful cruise!!!

We were on the Christmas cruise with 13 other family members and enjoyed it so much that DW and I will be on the Sunshine 3/16/14. We love the new decor and the new Serenity area. The embarkation and debarkation were both very easy. Only wish we could take the repositioning cruise in April!icon7.gif
