Good Taxi To Recommend???

When we were in Cozumel a couple of years ago we had a taxi driver meet us at the port and took us on a tour of the island, including the wild side. We ate lunch and he took us to see a couple of Beach Clubs, staying with us all the time. We were with him for about three to four hours. Any ideas who I could contact or just deal with the ones at the pier?

We just did it at the pier. Got a very nice lady driver. It was $60 for three hours..

Have you looked into Hiring a Driver for the Day? Not sure how the price compares with a taxi but we had great service and Alberto was a wonderful guide.

We're 1st time cruisers and just came back from 3/2 sailing of NOS. We hired a private driver through Toursplaza. We found the recommendation here on CC and Tripadvisor. We had Marco and he was great. We gave them an idea of what we wanted to do and he made suggestions. We booked him for 3 hours and ended up using his services for almost the whole day. It was nice not worrying about who we would be getting at the taxi line.
