buckeye12 Posted March 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2014 I was wondering how many cruises you have to have in to become platinum and diamond? Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
snc_cam Posted March 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Not # of cruises, # of "days" cruising... platinum, 75 days, diamond, 200 Steve
Miller_KC Posted March 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2014 It no longer how many cruises you sail, it's how many nights you sail. After 75 nights you are Platinum, after 200 you are diamond. If you will reach that number on a day during a booked cruise, you get the benefits of the new level for the whole cruise including the days before you actually reach the number. http://www.carnival.com/loyalty/benefits.aspx

Miller_KC Posted March 11, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2014 At 25 nights you get Gold that adds a free past guests party on cruises longer than 5 days. No too bad, free drinks and finger foods.

The past guest party is fun. You get a chance to meet the captain and several of the staff members. I could do without the Carnival MasterCard pitch, though. Anyislandwilldo Posted March 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2014 You can check under you VIFP profile on Carnival's website and it keeps track of all your past cruises with Carnival and lets you know what level you are at and how many more sailing you need for the next level. I could do without the Carnival MasterCard pitch, though. The MC card pitch is not on every cruise. We've been to 57 past guest parties and haven't seen it in years. Island Hopper58 Posted March 12, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I don't think I have ever heard a MC pitch on the ship...
