bosoxfan23061 Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Wife and I are flying into Melbourne the day before our cruise. We are planning on using shuttle/taxi service from airport to hotel and then from hotel to the port. Right now we have reservations at the Marriott Courtyard in Melbourne. Should we maybe try and get something closer to the port? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Would like something in the price range of $100-150/night (We have become hotel "snobs" over the last 10 years or so. So we prefer something similar to a Marriott Courtyard vice Red Roof Inn or Days Inn type places). Thanks in advance!!!
Clarea Posted March 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2014 There also a Marriott Courtyard in Cocoa Beach if you wanted to be closer to the port.

Clarea Posted March 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Any idea if they offer free shuttle service? Not free. They have some packages that include cruise shuttle, but none include transfers to MLB, only MCO.
wrigley80 Posted March 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2014 We always stay at the Comfort Inn on Atlantic Ave. We have stayed there twice....once pre-cruise for 2 days and once post-cruise. And we are staying there again in 23 days prior to our cruise on the Carnival Dream. We love this hotel. The people are friendly...it is clean and quiet...the pool area is very nice and relaxing...and there is a good breakfast in the morning There is a big group of us from the Carnival Dream roll call staying here. I do believe there is a shuttle as well because the hotel offers a stay and cruise package
