Sunshine - Deck 5 - aft cabin

Has anyone sailed the Sunshine in an AFT Oceanview cabin on deck 5? I thought I read somewhere those were new cabins. I noticed it is above the dining room and wondered if it might be noisy early in the morning. What about the mysterious smell others have mentioned?

We have 340 days till we sail one of those cabins!!! I'm super excited and looking forward to hear what other have to say about them.

BTW I also think they are new cabins and I think they will have the mini bar fridge.

We were in te new cabin 5340 was wonderful no noise even thought there would be alot of vibrations from engines and wasn't bad at all. Loved the roomyness and there is fridge. The only thing is the couch has to be put back or else it makes it hard to move around. The bathroom also is roomy

Did both transatlantic and 7-days last week in deck five aft cabin. Great location. No noise. Yes the have refrig.

Anyone know if the interior rooms on Deck 5 Aft are the really super tiny ones like they have in Cloud 9 or normal sized interior rooms? Search on YouTube for "sunshine cloud 9 interior" to see what I mean...it's REALLY small.

 

Also, if they have a mini fridge possibly?

I've had both O/V's and interiors on deck 5. They are smaller, than old interiors, but MUCH nicer as floor plan and closets are better. I'd stay in a deck 5 interior over any other interior on the ship.

Ok great...I read that but didn't know if the fridge applied to interior or not. Do you think there would be room in the interior cabin for a child's pack n play?

Yes, there is no couch so there is actually floor space next to closet.
