Liquor from Room Service

Trying to find the answer to this... can you buy a bottle of liquor through room service once on board? I know about the Bon Voyage liquor, but we were wondering about once we were sailing if we had an option for bottle liquor.

Anyone who has done this recently, what are the prices?

Yes, you can. The couple travelling with us on the Breeze in February ordered about 2 or 3 bottles from room service. Makers Mark was $80, a Crown Royal was either $70 or $75 and Jim Beam was $65.

Do they limit the amount? I ordered 2 4pks of beer via BV for our upcoming cruise, but I know we will drink more, they would not let us order anymore than that via BV.

I ordered a bottle of Absolut from room service once, but it was 3.5 years ago on the Valor back when prices were still pretty reasonable--I believe we paid $42.00. As far as I know, it's still possible. Just ask. When I did this on the Valor, I had no idea if they even had bottled liquor through room service, but I asked and sure enough they did!

No, but I think you pay taxes, which you don't on the ship after you leave port. I didn't order from RS, but I did order a bottle of Patron via BV. I priced it on the ship from RS and it was the same.
