Julessmiles Posted November 8, 2017 #27 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Much as I love sailing with Fred. Olsen and especially on the "Balmoral" I really don't think that it would be right for youngsters. I think they would be bored stiff. We have been on several Fred cruises with our youngsters when they have been in their late teens - they love it!
Julessmiles Posted November 8, 2017 #28 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Maybe I'm in a minority of one here - but why are two young adults, now at the age of majority, not looking to get away themselves on holiday without Maw and Paw ? Bank of Dad paying for the cruise option ? We've just had a cruise with our 17 & almost 21 year old! Yes, we paid & our eldest works & lives abroad a lot of the year & also goes on holidays with her friends but it was a great time to catch up & spend quality time together as a family - would do it all again too ;);)
