vamartha Posted March 16, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2014 I've always got a few in my toiletries. They do sell that specific brand in the ships store BUT they are amazingly expensive! $4.99 a bottle I believe - and they were selling the heck out of them too! Kamloops50 Posted March 16, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) wakes me up ....why do people drink Starbucks on a daily basis You need 6 Starbucks to get the same amount of caffeine as is in energy drinks. Energy drinks are about 60% caffeine as I read on the label. Read this about the problem with energy drinks. http://www.brown.edu/Student_Services/Health_Services/Health_Education/alcohol,_tobacco,_&_other_drugs/energy_drinks.php In Canada they estimate that 10% of heart acts in people (males ) under thirty are caused by over use of energy drinks . I like to be informed as to what I eat or drink and not listen to the advertising of the manufactures or their paid lackeys. Waterloomarc Posted March 17, 2014 #17 Share Posted March 17, 2014 My question why do people need to use 5 hr Energy drink on a daily basis? It's a generational thing IMO. My generation drank coffee, today's younger folks drink energy drinks like they're water. If you want to look young grab one and get a few tattoos ;) -Marc PS - I'm 35 so I guess by energy-drinker's standards I'm firmly in the old demographic! WLHyatt Posted March 17, 2014 #24 Share Posted March 17, 2014 Read here: http://www.5hourenergy.com/QandA.asp They only contain the caffeine of a cup of premium coffee, but they have lots of B vitamins which helps and is a healthy way to stimulate the metabolism and feel good overall. I drink at least 3 cups of coffee a day, I doubt I would have any trouble with 5 hour energy over stimulating me. I used to use them on a more regular basis than I do now.
