I'd say take the Thomson excursion to Rabat. Really nice city, much better than Casablanca.

Agree with Sailaway. I think it was his recommendation that made us decide to do the trip last year :) Really enjoyed it. Casablanca is a bit of a dump, the only thing worth seeing is the Mosque.

Sorry to add to the tales of gloom but Casablanca isn't much of a place, been there twice and didn't get off the ship the second time. If you don't want to go far do the city trip off the ship, the Mosque is definitely worth a visit
