Extended Aft Balconies on Dream

My family of 3 (all adults) currently have a deluxe ocean view booked. We love the idea of having two showers. We've never done a balcony room. With the extended AFT balconies, when you look down, what do you see? Decks? Or water? Also, how private are they? Has anyone ever had a bad experience with noisy neighbors? Is is worth it to lose the extra shower? Thanks in advance!

The view is incredible. Definitely worth doing one at least. Very little privacy. You will get to know your neighbors. I saw mine in a way I wish I didn't. I saw directly into their room without really trying. The view is incredible you do see deck and water and when sailing out of port it is the best view on the ship. Keep in mind you get soot on your balcony when you are aft.
