madra2112 Posted April 23, 2014 #27 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Hi IC, I apologise for the delay in getting back to you, I was out of circulation for a while last week for family reasons. Unfortunately, I didn't get your e-mail. Again, the address is madrasneachta - at - gmail - dot - com. To answer your questions, tenders are free and run all day as they fill up. The biggest potential problem is getting on shore early, as preference is given to people in suites and people booked on shore excursions through Royal Caribbean. When the ship is docked in La Spezia, you are free to come and go as you please. You can get off, go for a walk, get back on for lunch head out for some shopping and amble back at your leisure. Alternatively, you can ruch off as close as possible to 7 o'clock and head for Florence, Pisa, Lucca or (as we're doing in October), the Cinque Terre. The rule of thumb is the 'all aboard' cut off point to be back at the ship is half a hour before scheduled departure, so if the ship leaves at 7, 6.30 is the 'all aboard' time, make your plans to to back by 6 or even earlier, just to allow some wriggle room. Try the e-mail again, or feel free to contact me through work. Again, apologies for the delay. Donal.
