Isa65 Posted March 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Which of the Irie tours are you taking? If you're taking the East Side tour, Irie will take you to Seaquarium beach. You can choose to stay there and have dinner at any of the restaurants on the boulevard. At Hemingway's you can dine with your toes in the sand. If you're doing the West Side tour, Irie will drop you off back at the pier. You can have dinner at the Waterford arches (Perla del Mar, Scampi's, The Grill King). To get to the arches you need to cross the pontoon bridge, take an immediate right. This road will take you to the Plaza Hotel. Keep walking and right after the hotel there is an entrance to the arches.
santacap Posted March 21, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 21, 2014 we are doing the east side tour... but was hoping to get back to the area where we get dropped off after the tour
Isa65 Posted March 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Then you just follow what I wrote for the West Side tour. Irie will leave you at Riffort Village after the excursion. So, you just cross the pontoon bridge. You will find Iguana Cafe on your immediate left and this is a fun place to have drinks and watch people, but their food is not extremely good;). For a better dining experience watching the water, you're better off at the arches.
bup1224 Posted March 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2014 In Rif Fort - there are several restaurants - Steak and Ribs, Bistro Le Clochard
Isa65 Posted March 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2014 OP was asking for restaurants on the water. The restaurants in Riffort are not on the water (unless you ask to be seated outside at Bistro Le Clochard and that can be VERY windy at times). bup1224 Posted March 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Well yes Isa - but where else would one want to sit at Bistro Le Clochard :). I would highly recommend a reservation at Bistro to OP if they would like that one.
