Hotel Miramar

Has anyone stayed there lately? Got a good price for a 2 night stay before our cruise and just wondering how the neighborhood is and if there are any good resturants.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using Forums mobile app

Stayed there on 2/22/14 and it was wonderful. The neighborhood is old, but we felt safe. There were 8 of us.

There are 7 restaurants within one block of the hotel. From a Subway and a pizza place all the way to a Peruvian Wine Bar and a Chilean Restaurant.

The staff at the Miramar were great, went above and beyond for me. I forgot to bring the power cord for my CPAP and they went through a back room and found one that I could take with me on the cruise. Saved me from 7 sleepless nights!

They had many cabs ready to go on Sunday. Checkout is noon. There is a 24/7 diner across the street that serves a decent breakfast.

I used Orbitz to book. The hotel for 2 nights, 2 guests was $168.30 then I used a coupon code that took off $25 and the taxes an fees where $42.48. So my total came out to 185.78.

Here is the coupon code (you have to download the Orbitz app and book from your mobile device):

Promo code: DOWNLOAD25

Minimum stay: 2 nights

Book by June 30, 2014, travel by September 30, 2014. Terms below

thanks for the information

You are welcome. They are really a nice staff. There is a rooftop balcony with great views. The dinner we had was SO GOOD. There is also a decent grocery store on the same block as the eateries.
