The ship willnot be in Ixtapa, but in the bay of Zihuatenejo.

The tenders need at the most 10 minutes, it is a nice quiet bay.

From Z. you will need a cab to Ixtapa.

In Z. we didnot snorkel but took a cab (after some negociations) with a local guy. (Roberto). He drove us around for more than 2 hours, showing us Z. and Ixtapa with many stops at nice places. We payed him $ 25.- for this.

One of the places he showed us was a small very nice hotel on the easternside of Z., on a beautiful beach on the bay - called Hotel Paraisa Real. This hotel also is a diveresort, also offers snorkeltrips, so maybe you can check their website:http://www.divemexico.com.

We met the wife of the owner, very nice lady and spoke good english.
