glm7777 Posted March 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2014 I just took a trial run to the cruise terminal in Boston and have a few questions. We are having a car service drop us off at the terminal. I noticed there are signs that say "check baggage" and "carry on bags". We plan on bringing 3 suitcases between the 2 of us and we will each have a carry on bag. We are planning to get to the terminal around 11AM. Does a porter take your bags and if so, do we go with him? What exactly is the procedure for embarkation? This is our very first cruise and we have no idea what to do! Thanks for any info. Be sure your cabin tags are on each piece of luggage, which you will hand over to the porters as you arrive. You will not see your bags again until they arrive at your cabin. You will continue on your own into the terminal. Depending on the line, sometimes your cabin will not be ready until 1pm so anything you bring on with you, you will have to keep with you, such as a carryon.
