Please I need some info in a hurry if anyone has stayed at the Embassy Suites Westshore Tampa...I have a shot at a great price is it a decent place and how far is it to the port. Thanks

Its a good hotel. All Embassy suites are nice. You aren't really close to the pier, as far as Tampa goes. It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to the pier from that area. There is shopping, WestShore mall and just up the street a high end mall, SAKS, Niemans, etc. called the International mall. Other than that not much in the area.

 

If you stay at the Marriott over near the pier there is more to do with shopping, entertainment, etc.

Thanks Scott but the Marriott is a lot more money I just hope the cab ride to the pier is not a fortune...if you know about the cabs I would appreciate the info.
