spa specials while in port

I have read that the spa usually runs specials while in port. Is this something you can book ahead to get the special pricing or do you have to wait till like the day of or day before? I know a port day I will mostly be on ship and thought it would be a good time to get a massage..

They may advertise the day before, but the specials are usually listed in that days's cruise compass.
