Question about Epic Cabin Layout

to pile on to what Jenny said, you would see this in the deckplans on the NCL site or any number of others. Curve out = bed placement. Curve in = couch.

And I just learned from your awesome work that I have an exposed or uncovered balcony. I don't spend too much time on the balcony though so that shouldn't be a problem.

I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated the work you put into that. :)

Ok... so we are in room 11021 and looks like bump in so that would be couch near balcony? How do you know if balcony is exposed or uncovered? This will be our first norwegian cruise and first balcony. So not sure what I am looking for. Thanks for all the information. Love this site!

Wow thanks! I think I understand. Our cabin is actually 8072 which looks like the bump out is near the balcony correct? :o

Thanks so much for your quick responses.

Diane

Yes, 8072 has the bed next to the balcony, which tends to be the preferred layout for Epic balcony rooms

Yes, your room has the bed nearest the balcony as well.

As for your other question, there are no uncovered balconies above deck #9, so you're fine there. If you want more sun exposure that comes with not having a cover on your balcony, you can see which rooms those are by visiting the post linked in my signature area.

Have a nice cruise
