Emergency contact while on board

I know this has been on this board before... but for the life of me, I can't find it. I'm trying to get the phone number to leave for my family should an emergency occur and they need to reach me while we are cruising. I have looked all over the Carnival website and can't find it.

Found in a thread from 2012:

 

Shore to Ship Communication

 

Friends & Family may call guests on board via Sea Mobile Shore to Ship telephone service. The rate is $9.50 per minute from the United States; addidtional long distance charges may apply from outside the United States.

 

1-877-225-7447 from U.S.

1-732-335-3284 from outside U.S.

 

The caller need to have the ship name and the guest's name. Charges will be applied to the caller's credit card.

cute... but I don't think the 911 operator will contact the family on the cruise ship :)

We were on a cruise in January and had a death in the family (Saturday sea day and we were docking Sunday). My daughter called Carnival thru the 800 number and they patched her thru the ship and left a message for us. Carnival was fantastic - let me call home whenever I needed to. Very understanding and didnt cost us anything no ship to shore.

thank you for the information. My parents are with us on this cruise and my grandmother is not doing well...I appreciate the serious answers - the 911 answer was not helpful - if you were being funny, you weren't
