Thank you for allowing smoking on my balcony! Carnival Pride

I know you can smoke on your own personal balcony, but where else can you smoke? Can you smoke at the lido bar ? Do they allow it at the tables where you eat on under the covered pool area? This was not allowed on Splendor, but it WAS allowed on Fantasy...Anyone know about Pride???

I have never been on the pride, and dont know if it has the 2.0 upgrades yet.. but from my experience if it does not have the upgrades you should be able to smoke on lido (one side) if it has the upgrades they have taken lido smoking away:mad: but you can go up one deck and smoke..:)

Generally, you can smoke on one side of the Lido deck and above, usually the starboard side, but not in the aft if they have added a Serenity area. You can also smoke in most areas of the casino.

I was on the pride last year and you could smoke on the lido deck and the one side. I seen many people smoke after eating.

I think I got my answer, but ty for taking the time to responde. I wasn't actually thanking anyone, just looking for an answer out of curiosity because, I stopped cruising and thngs changed since I have been cruising again, but it doesn't seem to be the same from ship to ship ;)

They are one of the FEW that do.....

Probably just a matter of time....

As of summer 2012, you could still smoke on one side of the forward pool only, in the jazz club, upper level of the casino, and the casino when open and playing only.

 

That was my last cruise as a smoker (yay!!!) and it was frustrating because we would frequently find those areas closed while in port... designated lounges being used for employee training and the lido area not allowed due to refueling. Guest services literally told my DH to get off the ship if he wanted to smoke......

This will change with the 2.0 upgrades. We'll be relegated to deck 10 to smoke.
