Internet minutes on B2B

Could someone tell me the Celebrity up-to-date policy on the transferring of unused Internet minutes at the end of the first leg of B2B cruises? The two segments have separate booking numbers, if that's relevant. I have a lot of OBC for the first cruise and would like to use it to buy enough internet minutes to see me through the second cruise too! Advice appreciated!

Hi Gabegal,

 

Unfortunately, you cannot transfer any remaining internet minutes from the first leg to the second leg of your cruise.

 

You can always ask Guest Relations, if they will transfer some of the OBC's from the first leg of your sailing to the second leg, but I believe the answer may also be no. I've never tried it, so I'm uncertain. Hopefully, other members will chime in, with their experiences.

 

If all else fails, and if the OBC is non-refundable, I suggest cashing it out at the Casino, though you will pay a 5% surcharge. I hope this is helpful, and enjoy your cruise !

As Host Andy has explained, the two legs of the B2B cruises are two distinct cruises, with separate bills, which just happen to be back to back in timing.

The info another person had given me that it could be transferred sounded suspiciously wrong to me!

Sorry, that information was definitely wrong. As Northern Aurora stated, each leg is a completely separate cruise. Separate benefits and separtate billing. Sorry

The only thing you can carry over to the next cruise is the smug expression that says "I don't have to leave the ship". Which is, in retrospect, a very very good thing!:D
