nanny2wmn77 Posted April 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Can someone tell me what is served in the Blue Iguana Cantina, is it open for breakfast and lunch, and is there any extra cost? I would really appreciate it!

Jeafl Posted April 2, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2014 The breakfast burritos are outstanding! I ate one almost every morning last week, I am embarrased to report! My favorite was the jalapeno wrap with mexican eggs, sausage, crispy potatoes, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. (It sounds spicier than it really is!) sjcruiser Posted April 2, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2014 I loved the chicken sausage burritos for breakfast with a little bit of eggs and has browns. The line for breakfast is never long, and they are very filling. Nothing else needed except for a cup of joe or juice.
HENDRICKSFAN01 Posted April 2, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 2, 2014 The breakfast burritos are outstanding! I ate one almost every morning last week, I am embarrased to report! My favorite was the jalapeno wrap with mexican eggs, sausage, crispy potatoes, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. (It sounds spicier than it really is!) Easiest way to order it is jalapeno wrap everything on it. Light on the brown sauce (its spicy) best damn breakfast burritos ever. Then I go back for the fish tacos at lunch. Mmmm mmmm good

IPlayWithString Posted April 2, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Check out this Carnival BlueIguana Cantina page. The burritos are excellent. Hubby seconds this. He ate there twice a day on our last cruise. I'm thinking I'm going to have to try it when we head out in June since I didn't last time.
wantocruisemore Posted April 2, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 2, 2014 LOVE the hueveros rancheros and arepas for breakfast. They fix fresh over easy eggs to go on top. Got them almost every morning. Also, the the salsa station, the watermelon salsa is GREAT!!!!!
porcupyn Posted April 2, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 2, 2014 The breakfast burritos are outstanding! I ate one almost every morning last week, I am embarrased to report! My favorite was the jalapeno wrap with mexican eggs, sausage, crispy potatoes, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. (It sounds spicier than it really is!) I must've run into you then - I got the non-dessert portion of my breakfast there as well. Well, I need to qualify that statement. As I am a vegetarian, the first couple of days I would get only the burrito, and that too the smaller one, then head over to the salsa bar to make my own burrito. By then, I realized that I might as well do away with the burrito. I then used to make my own 'bowl burrito' by just mixing up the black beans, sour cream, various random condiments such as those you listed. One other item everyone appears to have skipped is the cheesy bread sandwich (don't know its 'official' name). That was too good. Once I discovered them, I packed one for shore excursions - I think I did that twice. I really couldn't very well have eaten all of that in one sitting for breakfast!! keishashadow Posted April 2, 2014 #13 Share Posted April 2, 2014 (edited) Knew DH didn't eat Mexican food or pizza when I married him, fact that he likes to travel trumped that lol. Know he's looking forward to the burger bar. He does like spicy, especially Chinese food. Since it's free:D he said he'd 'try' whatever protein they have...maybe he'll convert;) He's picky, won't eat eggs, pork, fish, do they have shrimp, chicken or beef available? wrigley80 Posted April 2, 2014 #14 Share Posted April 2, 2014 The breakfast burritos are AMAZING. I could go for one right now ;) I always ordered mine with Ham, eggs, cheese, potatoes, sour cream, and salsa. And the chicken tacos at lunch were super yummy too
wb3690 Posted April 2, 2014 #15 Share Posted April 2, 2014 LOVED breakfast here. I ate at the cantina alot last week actually. Many people forget they serve breakfast so if you go for huevos rancheros , burritos etc you'll more than likely get your food quick!

Seago2 Posted April 2, 2014 #19 Share Posted April 2, 2014 The breakfast burritos are fantastic and believe it or not- a meal. You can skip the whole buffet and just eat one of these and you won't regret it. Just get the tiny tater tots in yours! Great crunch.

The fish tacos were excellent, especially after doctoring them up at the salsa bar! I was really impressed with the freshness of the tortillas. They took small balls of dough, put them in the tortilla making machine and cooked them all in about 30 Seconds! You can't get fresher than that! The shrimp tacos were awesome too!
