love&livetocruise Posted May 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2004 Does the photo shop on Summit have capability of downloading my images to a cd, or do I need to bring extra memory cards? I love & live to cruise!
blindone Posted May 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2004 Love to Live to cruise-- That's a great "name". We were on the Summit in April and they can download your pictures. DH did it everynight and then burned a CD on the last day. $15 charge. Pictures came out great.
i-m-ed Posted May 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2004 blindone, was it a $15 per disk charge? I was on Serenade a couple of months ago and they led me to believe it was a $15/disk charge. That was really high so I opted to purchase a recorder that would burn from memory card directly to disk. With my setup I can only get about 175 pics per disk depending on what I'm shooting. What I find amazing is that when I was shooting film I would have considered 175 pictures to be more than sufficient for a weeks vacation.

i-m-ed Posted May 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2004 love&livetocruise, if you ask my wife she'll tell you it means "dumb husband" but most of the other wives mean "darling husband".
love&livetocruise Posted May 19, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Oh!!! i-m-ed, Thank you so much for that info! I raised 3 athletic children, so even though they are grown, to me a DH is still a "designated hitter", and I didn't think that everyone posting on these boards were all baseball players! And, I'm sure your wife would refer to you as "darling" also! Thanks! I love & live to cruise!
