Coquitlam Gal Posted April 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Any idea what to expect weather wise crossing the Pacific from Yokohama to Vancouver for cruise starting May 10 /14? How warm will it be?
t_car Posted April 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2014 I checked out this itinerary. Very good price, but!! Tokyo, about 70 deg F Sapporo, about 62 deg F Petropavlovsk, about 45 deg F  (same latitude as Alaska) Vancouver, mid 60's deg F I would plan on spending the better part of your voyage indoors. On the bright side, Celebrity service is very nice, and you will be guaranteed an available lounger near the pool. :D
paluni Posted April 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2014 We did this last year, over to Anchorage. We went along the Aleutians to offload a sick passenger - beautiful scenery. But it was very cold in the north Pacific. Like a refrigerator, or a freezer. But still enjoyable. Maybe it could be warmer this time. It was generally clear and real cold. Sometimes windy.
