dukemha Posted April 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2014 I'll begin with an apology because I imagine this question has been asked a million times before, but in my search I couldn't find a recent thread on the topic - though I might have researched more exhaustively. At any rate, I understand on-board credit can be used for drinks, excursions, specialty restaurants, tips, etc. But I'm unclear whether it can also be used in the casino. Since the credit is on the Sea Pass card, can the credit be accessed if swiped into a slot machine?

You must use cash or a credit slip printout. The only reason they have SeaPass scanners on the machines is to accumulate casino points. You can get cash at the casino cashier window against your SeaPass account, but they wll charge you 5% for that service. knuckles Posted April 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2014 It's actually a 3% charge to take a cash advance at the casino. Unless you are a member of the Player Club, which does not charge a fee. However if you do have any monies remaining from any OBC after the week of your charges, you can get the refund in cash on the last night of the cruise at guest relations. Gayle V Posted April 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Or you can buy some chips with the credit. Then later cash them in; (provided you haven't succumbed to the temptation to gamble them away.)

As long as it's refundable OBC.

dukemha Posted April 8, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Thanks for the responses, folks. Sounds as though I should plan to expend the credit someplace other than the casino. I'm good with that.
