My cruise on the Imagination leaves on Thursday and I still don't have a cabin assignment!

Still no cabin assignment. It's 10 PM and I sail tomorrow. I called Carnival and they said not to worry, I will be assigned a cabin tomorrow.

 

I don't think it will be a suite because they are all booked, and they gave me the impression that none we held back for unassigned passengers like myself.

 

I booked an ocean view.

that's the only thing I'd worry about-the luggage getting to the correct cabin. Otherwise just enjoy the surprise.

They're probably calling people in balconies asking if they want to pay to upgrade before they assign your room

Exactly, so they're giving people who booked balconies a chance to PAY to upgrade to a suite before they GIVE it away to someone who booked a guarantee.

 

They called me before our Hawaii cruise doing the same thing.

But this ship HAS no balcony cabins. Only the suites have any type of balcony. But, yes, they could be calling OV pax to see if they want a suite.;)
