Hotel and transfer to ship in Miami

:) Hi, My family and I will be arriving Miami on the 27 August to catch a cruise on the 28 August on the Carnival Valor and I would like to know which hotel would be the closest to the Port and do most hotel offer free shuttle to the ship?

And if you have any advise what we can do in Miami on the 27th. Our flight arrives at 5:00 pm....Thanks

Look for the Bayside Market Place on the map. The terminal is less then 1/2 from there. You won't get a free shuttle to the hotels near the port and most do not offer shuttles to the port. It cost about $21.00 by cab to the pier from the airport. About$5-$8 from near the Bayside area. There is or was a Hoilday Inn right by the Market Place.
