Do I understand correctly, Deck 12 is only for Suite guests. That is really insane, if true.

Most of deck 12 is for all guests, except for a small portion reserved for suite guests.

Thanks Bob. I really prefer deck 12 to the pool deck, and was really concerned. Too many changes all together. I'm getting to be too old of a toad to keep it all in place. I'm still working on the why and how of booking a new cruise. Oye! Thanks for all the info.

Waiting for the next group of pictures, Motleu! Thanks for all so far

The area I took the pics from is atop the sky bar. There are about 30 lounge chairs - nothing special. There are stairways on either side of the bar and they aren't blocked off in any way. I think I have a pic of the sign indicating the area is for suite guests somewhere along the way.

More pics later this evening.....

I think I posted this already but I am posting again since this is the area above the sky bar set aside for the suites

Judging the belly flop - looks like a lot of 4s

And now a break for some refreshments! Notice the rare lime!

A long hallway (especially after a lot of refreshments!)

Schooner bar for trivia - notice the formal wear. Many people wore tuxes and suits. I was very surprised to see the level of dressing up

Time for some commentary:

1)Note the date listed on the pics is off. We were in Labadee on 4/1

2)Labadee is awesome! This was my first time there and it was much more than I expected because I've been to Coco Cay a number of times. There is no comparison. And we didn't even do any activities. We were lazy getting off the ship and it was an early all aboard at 330pm. So we didn't have much time. We took the shuttle straight to Columbus Cove and were still able to get a few loungers in the shade. We were the only ship there and I imagine it can get crowded with multiple ships there.

3)We went to the buffet in the Columbus Cove area. We went late so we were the only ones there! Plenty of picnic tables available. Buffet was so so but I wasn't expecting much. They did have ribs on the buffet and the kids loved that.

4)Taking the shuttle allows you to skip the shops in the artisans village and the shops lining the walk to Cols Cove. But we walked over there anyway and they put the usual hard sale on you but we negotiated like crazy and bought some stuff.

5)And has been reported in another thread and by me in a separate thread we had an emergency medical evac apparently due to a snorkeling incident. They prepped the helipad on the ship (closed off the entire front portion of the ship) but ultimately they chopper landed on the pier. I have a few pics of that. Staff told me the chopper came from the Dominican Republic. From what I heard the passenger was waving as he was transported by stretcher to the chopper so I am hoping everything worked out.
