lc311 Posted April 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2014 We are traveling on the Freedom in October and it is myself and my girlfriend in one room and our friend is joining us as a single in a room by herself. We have FTTF passes and since we are traveling together and it is just her alone will she be allowed to board with us or does she need her own? It seems silly for her to have to spend the money as well when she is already spending so much to cruise solo. I know a lot of FTTF questions have been asked but I couldn't find anything on this, sorry if this has been asked before
KenMo Posted April 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2014 FTTF is per cabin. So, yes, she would need to purchase FTTF for her cabin.
sailingwithfriends Posted April 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2014 I goofed and didn't buy FTTF for my teenage daughter who is in cabin across the hall from us. FTTF sold out for this cruise. According to Carnival, she will not be able to board early with us. So her father and I will not be boarding early even though we purchased FTTF. We will be able to go straight to our cabin. She will go with us to our cabin. Our luggage will also arrive early. If you have two cabins, you must purchase it for both.

You can always print a couple of your extra luggage tags and place them on her luggage. That way her luggage can be delivered early but to your cabin. She will be in general check in and get a zone number. If you want her close by, then get to the pier around 10am and she will likely have zone 1 or 2 and probably be on the ship in the group right behind you, or you will still be at the front of the pack of you choose to stay back with her.
