hpecorari Posted April 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Anyone on the Breakaway and/or Getaway who was CAS Golden or VIP and did not stay in a suite? I heard they might have changed the rules for breakfast/lunch (or so I was told by a CAS rep on the phone.) I'm not sure I believe them. If you were CAS Golden or VIP and were on the Breakaway or Getaway recently and were not staying in a Suite.....were you able to have Breakfast/lunch as a perk either in the Haven or at Cagney's. (She told me Cagney's, even on the Breakaway and Getaway were doing CAS breakfast/lunch. I think she's crazy but am hoping the rules have changed! Anyone? Harriet On the Breakaway as a VIP guest of CAS I ws not able to go to the Haven Restaurant as I was a non-suite guest. Cagney's was not open for breakfast or lunch. At that time I was told that only on ship's where Cagneys is open for breakfast and lunch could a VIP CAS guest go there for breakfast and lunch. This would be on ship's that do not have a Haven Restaurant.

cruisingcasinos Posted May 1, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 1, 2014 I am also curious how CAS priority boarding works- heading on BA in august and not in a suite so I hope (fingers crossed) to get VIBE passes-But I know you have to get to Guest services early to buy those passes. So wondering what type of priority boarding (CAS Golden) is available in NYC for BA (if any)

ch7012 Posted May 3, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Harriet, Checked in at the pier. No VIP boarding or pink room cards like the other ships. I am going to presume no cagneys either but I'll let you know for sure. I will definitely inquire in the casino later. I'm so disappointed! ch7012 Posted May 7, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Thanks! I wonder if it's any different for CAS VIP? Keep me posted!!But more important.....have a GREAT time! Harriet Harriet, In St. Thomas today. Thank you we are having a great time! Definitely no specialty breakfast and lunch or VIP service. I haven't noticed any VIP cards in the casino so I can't speak for that. If I can find out I'll let you know. As much as we are having a great time I do miss the VIP service and Cagneys for breakfast and lunch. I would think twice about booking a ship that doesn't give us that service.
